RIJOKA SWING CHAIRS LLC 12-MONTH LIMITED WARRANTY
Effective Date: August 30, 2026
This Limited Warranty is provided by RIJOKA SWING CHAIRS LLC (“RIJOKA”) for RIJOKA swing chairs purchased by consumers for residential use, subject to the terms, limitations, and exclusions below.
1. Who Is Covered
This Limited Warranty applies to the original retail purchaser. Proof of purchase showing the original purchase date is required for warranty claims.
2. Warranty Period
RIJOKA warrants covered products against defects in materials and workmanship for twelve (12) months from the original date of purchase. A repair or replacement does not restart or extend the original warranty period, except where required by applicable law.
3. What Is Covered
During the warranty period, RIJOKA warrants that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use when properly assembled, installed, used, maintained, and stored in accordance with supplied instructions and warnings.
Covered manufacturing defects may include structural manufacturing defects in the chair basket or frame; manufacturing defects in a supplied stand; defective welds attributable to manufacturing; and manufacturing defects in RIJOKA-supplied chains, springs, hooks, or suspension components.
Minor variations in color, texture, weaving, dimensions, shape, finish, or appearance inherent to materials or manufacturing are not considered defects.
4. What Is Not Covered
Normal wear and tear; improper use, care, storage, maintenance, installation, or handling; misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents, impact, dropping, or dragging.
Jumping, standing, climbing, aggressive swinging, or use as playground or gymnastic equipment; exceeding the applicable maximum weight capacity; unauthorized modifications or repairs.
Damage caused by pets, animals, sharp objects, fire, heat, chemicals, inappropriate cleaning products, commercial or non-residential use, or failure to reasonably inspect and maintain the product.
Damage caused by hurricanes, tropical storms, flooding, high winds, severe weather, falling objects, flying debris, saltwater, salt air, chlorine, pool/spa chemicals, fertilizers, irrigation water, or other corrosive substances.
Normal fading, weathering, staining, discoloration, cosmetic deterioration, rust, oxidation, corrosion, or damage caused by moving or repositioning the product after RIJOKA has completed initial delivery and placement.
5. Rust, Oxidation and Corrosion
RUST, OXIDATION, AND CORROSION ARE NOT COVERED UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.
Metal components can develop rust, oxidation, or corrosion from environmental exposure, including rain, moisture, condensation, humidity, salt air, saltwater, pool/spa water, chlorine, irrigation water, fertilizers, chemicals, or other corrosive substances.
Rust, oxidation, and corrosion are considered environmental deterioration and/or normal wear and are not considered defects in materials or workmanship. Customers are responsible for reasonable care, including keeping metal components clean, avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture and corrosive substances, and allowing wet components to dry.
6. Rust Stains and Surrounding Property
RIJOKA DOES NOT WARRANT AGAINST RUST STAINS, DISCOLORATION, MARKS, OR OTHER SURFACE DAMAGE CAUSED BY RUST, CORROSION, OXIDATION, MOISTURE, CONDENSATION, OR WATER RUNOFF FROM THE PRODUCT.
This includes, without limitation, staining or damage to patio tiles, pavers, concrete, natural stone, pool decks, wood, composite decking, balconies, indoor or outdoor flooring, and other surrounding surfaces.
Customers are responsible for determining whether the placement surface is suitable and should use appropriate protective pads, mats, or barriers where necessary.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RIJOKA SWING CHAIRS LLC SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL PROPERTY DAMAGE CONSISTING OF OR RESULTING FROM RUST STAINS, CORROSION, OXIDATION, DISCOLORATION, MOISTURE, OR WATER RUNOFF FROM THE PRODUCT. Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
7. Outdoor Use
A RIJOKA product described as suitable for outdoor use may be used outdoors under normal residential conditions with proper care and maintenance.
OUTDOOR USE DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE PRODUCT IS RUST-PROOF, WEATHERPROOF, MAINTENANCE-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR PERMANENT EXPOSURE TO ALL WEATHER CONDITIONS.
Outdoor exposure can naturally cause or accelerate fading, discoloration, weathering, rust, oxidation, corrosion, and other deterioration. Protect the product from prolonged moisture and severe weather and appropriately protect or store it during extended periods of non-use.
8. Cushions and Fabrics
Cushions, covers, and fabrics may naturally fade or discolor after prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Such fading or discoloration is not considered a manufacturing defect.
Damage, fading, staining, or discoloration caused by chlorine, pool/spa water, chemicals, cleaning agents, sunscreen, saltwater, or other external substances is not covered.
Cushions should be allowed to dry thoroughly when wet and stored in a clean, dry, protected location during severe weather and extended periods of non-use. Normal compression, flattening, stretching, pilling, minor shrinkage, and weathering are not manufacturing defects.
9. Maximum Weight Capacity
Single-person RIJOKA Swing Chairs: maximum 265 lbs (120 kg), one person at a time.
Two-Person RIJOKA Swing Chairs: maximum 440 lbs (200 kg) combined total weight.
The applicable maximum weight must never be exceeded. Damage resulting from overloading is not covered. RIJOKA swing chairs are intended for normal seated use and must not be used for jumping, standing, climbing, aggressive swinging, or as playground or gymnastic equipment.
10. Delivery and Initial Placement by RIJOKA
RIJOKA personnel deliver the product and place it at the customer’s requested location, such as a garden, patio, living room, bedroom, or other suitable area, provided that the location can be safely and reasonably accessed.
After delivery and placement, the customer or authorized recipient will have an opportunity to inspect the product for visible damage and acknowledge its apparent condition. This acknowledgment does not limit warranty coverage for a manufacturing defect that was not reasonably visible or discoverable at delivery.
11. XLarge and Two-Person Models — Access Requirements
RIJOKA XLarge and Two-Person Swing Chairs require a minimum clear access width of 31.5 inches (80 cm). This requirement applies specifically to XLarge and Two-Person models.
The customer is responsible for ensuring a suitable access route to the requested placement location, including sufficient clearance through doorways, hallways, gates, stairways, corners, elevators, and other access points.
RIJOKA personnel will not force, bend, squeeze, twist, push, pull, or wedge an XLarge or Two-Person chair through an opening with insufficient clearance. If the requested location cannot be safely accessed, another suitable accessible placement location may be selected.
12. Moving After Initial Placement
Once RIJOKA has completed delivery and initial placement and the product has been accepted, the customer is responsible for subsequent handling and movement.
Damage caused by moving, carrying, repositioning, relocating, disassembling, reassembling, or otherwise handling the product after initial placement is not a manufacturing defect and is not covered.
This includes scratches, dents, cracks, deformation, damaged or broken weaving, damaged finishes, bent components, and structural damage. For XLarge and Two-Person models, this specifically includes damage caused by attempting to move the chair through an opening with less than 31.5 inches (80 cm) of clear width.
13. Installation and Suspension
If a swing chair is suspended from a ceiling, beam, structure, tree, or mounting point not supplied by RIJOKA, the purchaser is responsible for ensuring the mounting point and mounting hardware are structurally suitable and safely installed.
RIJOKA does not warrant ceilings, beams, trees, structures, anchors, mounting points, third-party hardware, or other components not supplied by RIJOKA. Damage resulting from an unsuitable or improperly installed mounting point or third-party component is not covered.
RIJOKA Ceiling Hooks & Mounting
RIJOKA-supplied ceiling hooks and suspension hardware are covered against defects in materials and workmanship during the applicable 12-month warranty period.
Warranty coverage applies to manufacturing defects in the RIJOKA-supplied component itself and does not cover damage or failure resulting from improper installation, an unsuitable mounting location or supporting structure, incorrect or unsuitable fasteners, overloading, misuse, corrosion, or failure of the ceiling, beam, joist, concrete, wood structure, or other mounting surface.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the selected mounting point and supporting structure are suitable for safely supporting the hanging chair and its users.
RIJOKA does not warrant or assume responsibility for the structural integrity or suitability of a customer’s ceiling, beam, joist, building structure, or other mounting surface.
If there is any uncertainty regarding the suitability of the structure or installation, the customer should have the mounting point checked or installed by a qualified professional.
14. Severe Weather
Swing chairs, stands, cushions, and related components should be secured or moved to a protected location before hurricanes, tropical storms, severe thunderstorms, high winds, or other dangerous weather.
Damage caused directly or indirectly by hurricanes, tropical storms, tornadoes, flooding, high winds, falling objects, flying debris, or other severe weather events is not covered.
15. Inspection and Maintenance
Customers should regularly inspect load-bearing components, including the chair, basket, stand, frame, chain, spring, hooks, connectors, welds, fasteners, and mounting hardware.
STOP USING THE PRODUCT IMMEDIATELY if any load-bearing component appears damaged, cracked, loose, excessively worn, significantly corroded, deformed, or otherwise unsafe. Damage caused or worsened by continued use after a safety-related problem became reasonably apparent is not covered.
16. Warranty Remedy
If RIJOKA determines that a defect is covered, RIJOKA may, at its option and subject to applicable law, repair the defective product or component; replace it with the same or a reasonably comparable product or component; or refund all or an appropriate portion of the original purchase price.
Replacement products or components may differ in color, finish, appearance, or design if the original item is no longer available.
17. How to Make a Warranty Claim
Contact RIJOKA at hello@rijoka.com and provide your order number, proof of purchase, purchase date, product/model information, clear photographs or video showing the issue, photographs of the complete product, and a description of how and when the issue occurred.
RIJOKA may request additional information or inspection reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim. DO NOT DISPOSE OF THE PRODUCT OR CLAIMED DEFECTIVE COMPONENT UNTIL RIJOKA HAS COMPLETED ITS ASSESSMENT OR AUTHORIZED DISPOSAL.
18. Warranty Returns
Do not return or ship a product without prior authorization from RIJOKA.
If RIJOKA requires return of a product or component for an approved warranty claim, the authorized return will be provided at no return-shipping cost to the customer. RIJOKA will provide the applicable return instructions or prepaid return arrangements.
19. Limitation of Remedies and Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RIJOKA’S OBLIGATION FOR A VALID CLAIM UNDER THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO THE REMEDIES DESCRIBED ABOVE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RIJOKA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL PROPERTY DAMAGES ARISING FROM CONDITIONS EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTY COVERAGE, INCLUDING RUST, CORROSION, OXIDATION, WEATHERING, FADING, OR SURFACE STAINING.
Nothing in this Limited Warranty excludes or limits any liability, remedy, or damages that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
20. Implied Warranties
TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE FEDERAL AND FLORIDA LAW, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES APPLICABLE TO THE PRODUCT, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO TWELVE (12) MONTHS FROM THE ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE.
Nothing in this Limited Warranty excludes an implied warranty that may not lawfully be excluded.
21. Other Legal Rights
This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights under applicable federal or Florida law. No provision is intended to waive any consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.
If any provision is determined invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the maximum extent permitted by law.
22. Governing Law
This Limited Warranty is governed by applicable federal law and the laws of the State of Florida.
